Nottinghamshire Pride. Festival of lesbian, gay, bi, trans & queer culture. Queer-friendly straight people welcome too. |
| Venue |
The stage will be on Lace Market Square. (See separate page for address, directions, access info etc.) Stalls will be on Heathcoat Street. |
| Time |
Festival runs 12 noon – 6pm, with march from Castlegate at 11.30. People will be gathering at Castlegate from 11ish. Single Bass on-stage time(s): about 3.30. May only be for two songs, maybe three or four. |
| Other stuff on |
Lots of other people will be playing or speaking or whatever! |
| Admission price |
Free or a few quid. That is, you can get a wristband for a donation of £3 to support Pride. In 2014, the wristband got you access to the middle of Lace Market Square, or else you could watch the music from outside the gated area (still a good view). Stewards were selling the wristbands. I don’t know if this is exactly how it’ll work in 2015. |
| Age limit |
All ages welcome. |
| Access |
I don’t know yet if we have BSL interpretation. For physical access, see info about Lace Market Square. |
